An antique heavy silver Victorian necklace with inlaid gold birds got lost in the vicinity of Brisbane’s medical precinct. A silver and gold locket was hanging to it that does not perfectly match. It was stored inside mauve patchwork purse, which also contained a pair of gold earrings.
Given the age and rarity of these pieces, they are of immense personal value to the owner.
We are asking anyone who was around Wickham Terrace (near St Vincent’s Hospital) or the Mater Private Hospital area to please check their surroundings or recall if they may have seen this specific purse. Let’s do everything we can to help reunite this treasure with its owner.
